Mike Hamfelt: Hey everyone, this is Mike Hamfelt here from Com Pro Managed Business Solutions. If you’re a small or medium sized business owner that feels like workflow solutions are either too complex or expensive, then this video is for you. Today, Dominic Tremblay, National Partner Manager with Xerox, is going to give a quick overview of the Office 365 App that is available on multi-function Xerox devices.
Dominic: Thanks Mike, and welcome everyone. Today what we’re going to talk about is our connectors for Microsoft Office 365.
As you know, most small businesses are moving towards being in the cloud and Office 365 is a product that a lot of SMB’s, and even large enterprises, are using more and more. The cool thing with Xerox Connect Key Technology is that we have an app gallery, basically an app store, where you could go to Com Pro and ask them to add apps to your device and make it personal. One of those apps is Office 365.
What that does, is that it allows you to be able to go online, or on your device, click on the app and be able to scan documents directly into your Office 365 account, or print documents directly from your Office 365 accounts. What that does is that it allows you to be more productive, you don’t have to scan into email and then back to your office, and then take the document to drag and drop into your Office 365 folder. Instead, you can go directly into your Office 365 folder and drop the document in there or print from that device. So, it’s a very useful app. It’s called Office 365 Connector. It comes only into the app gallery.
Com Pro can help you download that app into your devices and have you use it pretty much instantly. It’s exactly like your phone. You just go download it and you’re ready to go. With our ultra-link technology, you’re even able to single sign on when you use your identification method at the device. So, if you have a card let’s say and you’re able to scan your credentials and authenticate the device, then it will authenticate automatically to your Office 365 account and you’re ready to go. You just scan your document into your folder or print file.
That’s a cool app that is available through Xerox and Com Pro, and I think it’s something you should take into consideration next time. Thank you, Mike.
