Our Commitment to The Environment
Many companies are looking for ways to reduce the amount of paper that is used in their offices. But printing is often a necessity and some companies still have to print in large volumes. At Com Pro, we are committed to supporting sustainable practices that don’t tax our environment, such as encouraging paper waste reduction, sourcing energy-efficient equipment, environmentally-friendly consumables, and refurbishing pre-owned office equipment to keep them out of the landfill.

That is why we’re introducing a new partnership with the Print Releaf project, where our customers can plant a tree for every tree consumed.
What is Print Releaf?
The problem of deforestation is a global one. The World Bank estimates that 10 million square kilometres of forest have disappeared since the beginning of the 20th century, and every second, a stretch of forest equivalent to a soccer field is lost.
To preserve our forests, we need to look at other ways to give back what we take. The Print Releaf project was brought about to address this concern and to give companies and business owners a way to contribute directly to reforestation efforts across the globe.
This program offers the world’s first digital ‘platform’ that converts your paper footprint into actual trees. For every print job, trees are replanted in the forests that need it the most and precious resources are returned back to the earth.
How Does It Work?
The Program is open to any business that has a high-volume of printing.
Step 1) First, your paper consumption is measured and is used to calculate your paper footprint. This is done through innovative third-party programs that easily integrate into your print systems.
Step 2) An easy to install dashboard will show you your paper consumption totals. Everything is based on the “Cloud” so there’s nothing to install on your server in order to access your dashboard.
Step 3) Based on your cumulative printing, the dashboard will show you how many trees are actively being replanted based on your total paper consumption.
Step 4) Then customers can select where they would like those trees to be replanted, through a network of certified global reforestation projects. Choose from many locations across the globe, such as India, Brazil, Canada, Madagascar etc.
Step 5) The Releaf program can even provide you with certificates and reports about the forests you have “releafed”. Through a verified reforestation process, the program guarantees 100% net survival of the trees you’ve replanted.
The process is entirely automated, so you don’t have to do anything, except print responsibly.
With the dashboard, you can even see your impact in real-time, which allows you to share your replanting milestones throughout your social media and marketing network. Show the positive impact you’re having on the world’s forests, and how you’re contributing to environmental sustainability!
